Description
One of the most amazing animals I have ever seen in the wild. And I had my camera with me to boot! These owl live way up north and are rarely seen as far south as I saw this one (near Ottawa). They fly silently since most of their bulk is only feathers they are a lot lighter that they look. It allowed me to get within 20 feet of it a few times.
